I went to New York City in November 2023 for a work trip, and was able to take a few photos around the city.

Metal Swap Meet is a project that myself (Brian Parker), and my friend Israel Pelayo organize every year. This was our 13th annual Metal Swap Meet and we were fortunate enough to have the bands Night Demon, Medieval Steel, Coven 6669 and Alchemy play. In it's 5th year, Houston, Texas is invaded by metal heads and traditional metal bands. Held at the White Oak Music Hall, this year included the biggest lineup ever, including Hellhammer, Celtic Frost, Night Demon, Hallas, Razor, Liege Lord, Pagan Altar, Unto Others, Possessed, Gatekeeper, Visigoth, Riot City, Century, Vio-Lence, and many more. Cannibal Corpse, Dark Funeral and Immolation played The Observatory North Park, in San Diego on November 23, 2022. This was a pretty incredible lineup, and had sold out over a month prior. Great crowd and venue. I decided to go 100% black & white on this one due to the seemly over saturated color lighting.

Full Metal Burgers 6 year anniversary at Black Plague Brewing and Malison performed.

Gwar brought their entertaining brand of shock rock (according to Jerry Springer) to San Diego. There was lots of fake blood sprayed all over the audience. This time it was at the House of Blues. They brought New Orleans death/thrash metal band Goatwhore. This show was on May 28, 2022.

On November 28, 2021, Brick by Brick in San Diego hosted goth/metal band Unto Others (formerly Idle Hands), traditional metal band Blood Star and San Diego death rock band New Skeletal Faces. I was fortunate enough to be there and snap some photos.

Cradle of Filth brought their brand of theatrical metal to The Observatory in North Park, in San Diego, CA. They played the whole Cruelty and the Beast album, from beginning to end, which was an absolute pleasure to see and photograph. Big thanks to Live Nation and the Cradle of Filth camp for the opportunity.
